Textiles Help

Hello everyone, I'm the newbiest noob you can find around :$

Playing for a grand 5 hours. After restarting 3 times I found interest in the textiles industry, but I have absolutely no idea what to do whatsoever, or if it is even a valid, profitable way.

Anything at all please?

(Like how many buildings I should start off with, If I should get my own power, if I should expand, the plantation to textile factory ratio etc.)

Reading your post I think there are much newer newbies than you here in the game

The textile industry requires lots of cotton for the textiles. Leather is better, as you just need 0.5 cattles for one piece of leather.
I do not have textile factories here in this version, therefore I cannot say how profitable it is here.

In another version I am producing leather jackets and they are quite good...

And the stuff needed for it too.

Right now Ive got 2 plantations, 1 textile factory and 1 power plant

Sorry for the noob question, I figured it out on my own like I should

So I suppose I get the 0.5 cattles from cattle farm, the one with the cow?
And can I only sell i to NPCs? Duno if players would need leather jackets for anything :S

Hmm, seems like all I need is another 90k or so on producing cattle and Im good to go... Is there anything I need to make the cattles too? :S

Leather jackets: you need 1 leather + 1 textile
for textiles you need 3 cottons, for leather half of a cow *gg*

for the cattle, you will need corn and water, but you can find this in the help in game... there are all buildings and what you can produce there, under the products help you will find the raw material needed.
And under www.kapitools.de you can see, how long the production will take and how expensive it is...

it's smart to get a textile store. I bought some 300 leather jackets on the open market for some 480 and sold them at my stores for 700
