The level-system
The level-system
To reach the next level you have to reach the required amount of cash and fixed assets (the sum of cash + fixed assets). Goods in stock will not be counted.
During the tutorial the first levels with essential important features will be unlocked. You will receive further additional features once you reach higher levels.

The higher your level the slower your production will be (production will take longer). You can see the reason in here.
Here is a list of the increase of the production-time from level to level (in percent):
Merchant --> Retailer: 13,33% (13,33%)
Retailer --> Trader: 5,88% (20%)
Trader --> Small Businessman: 5,56% (26,66%)
Small Businessman --> Businessman: 2,63% (30%)
Businessman --> Wholesaler: 2,56% (33,33%)
Wholesaler --> Manager : 2,50% (36,66%)
Manager --> Entrepreneur: 2,44% (40%)
Entrepreneur --> Large Scale Manufacturer: 2,38% (43,33%)
Large Scale Manufacturer --> Industrialist: 2,33% (46,66%)
Industrialist --> Billionaire: 2,27% (50%)
Billionaire --> Big Industrialist: 2,22% (53,33%)
Big Industrialist --> Tycoon: 2,17% (56,66%)
Tycoon --> Financial Magnate: 2,13% (60%)
Financial Magnate --> Capitalist: 2,08% (63,33%)
