At many times, new players such as I, wonder how a product would be made or what could be made from a product. For example, I could use my extra power on something else.... but do I know in what?

What products could be made from it? how many units would be used to create this new product? further on, what could those manufactured products be turned into?

I do not post this under "Beginner Help" because what I really want is a sticky post somewhere in the forum that would be a great help to newbies all around the game:

A wood supplier who's tired of supplying and wants to start making furniture but doesn't know how to begin, a newbie who has no clue of what business to get into, a diamond-maker who wants to start selling jewelry...

This is so funny. Half of this idea was already posted and the rest is in the game a few days (or was it a week or two) ago.

For your first two questions

What products could be made from it? how many units would be used to create this new product?

While in the game, just click "help" in the top right corner (next to logout), on the left column underneath your stats and above the ads for premium accounts, you can see 5 question marks labels "Products" along with letters that is in that category. Just select the one containing the product in question.

For your last question

further on, what could those manufactured products be turned into?

Unless you would like to make the post yourself as I believe many are tired of typing millions of characters to help out those that are impatient to do the research themselves.

I spent such a long time looking for a post like this before replying; Slightly over a month with no hurry before actually posting it. I never thought of looking under "help". first time i even click on that button! xD

Soul System's reply and GoldenEye's flowchart somehow answers my questions. Still, this information might want to be stickied (specially that flowchart), as that was why I did not find it.

It is. To avoid having 50 topics sticky, the interesting and helpful topics are organised and indexed into one single guide. You'll find that guide sticked in the "Questions and Beginner Help" section of the forums.
It is the thread called "The Guide and to Guides and helpful threads". The guide contains the flowchart, and many other interesting infos.
