DELETE the entire forum & start fresh

Post by Guest » 24.11.2007, 16:28

Here's a radical idea that I think would be pretty cool...

Delete the entire forum - all the threads, posts, topics, etc.... Everything except for sections about current rules / guidelines!

We're all business minded individuals here & most I would say are very creative.... So let's get those creative juices flowing and start fresh - new ideas, new opinions, new ways to grow all our businesses in this game!

Not to mention, while I'm a very detail / information oriented person, I don't use the forum to often as there's just too much too keep track of.

I imagine there most likely many other players also feel the same, who would post stuff if they knew it would be read, not lost amongst all the "clutter"!

Thanks for reading (assuming you find this post on PAGE 8 of the Suggestions forum. lol)

I think having a grounding foundation and ideas is always a good thing. Starting over at this stage would just create a mess. We all read peoples ideas and suggestion now.

You said yourself that you don't use the forum to often anyway. Why would that change? You would have to make an effort to change after the "suggestion" anyway, why not change now?

It would change because I would be able to keep up much better with the posts. As it stand right now, I've gotta read / open up 100's, if not thousands of topics & sub-topics to make the forum "current", which would take hours if not days to do.

Anyways just a suggestion, kind of goes hand in hand with the thoery of making ad copy short enough to keep people's attention. :)

If you want to mark a whole forum section as read, without actually reading topics you deem too old, you can use the "mark all as read" option. You'll find it on the right hand top side of each topic listing.

Dave,

I would be helpful for the server and for all players to delete all earlier posts and remove clutter. Maybe you are right!

But the way I see this,
Kapilands in no loger only a game, it is a community and noone would like to erase the memories of a community! I still sometime go back and read my old topics on R1 about making unions and stuff...

There are also TOO MANY helpful posts to be deleted...
