change the account statement

The Account Statement shows the daily transactions on your account. However the information currently shown in limited (see below). There are times when I purchase something but forget (ok, I'm senile) from whom I purchased it, or the exact details (goods and qty). Once it mixes in with my existing inventory, I'm doomed to sort it out. Thus, I have to keep running notes on what I do.

I agree completely. Financial and managerial accounting as such settled sciences that a game that's about business should include real business-like ledgers and statements. I wouldn't even mind if such reports were available only by subscription, but we should have real accounting reports.

I've ranted about getting more accurate statements since I started playing this game. But, the official line seems to be that the financial statements are not a core feature of the game, and as a side feature, there's not much interest by the developers in improving them.

That's too bad because there's really nothing to develop. Standard Balance Sheets and P&L Statement are, well, standard!
