Ad sense On Kapilands

Post by Guest » 10.08.2010, 11:33

Follow my line of thinking,
Point 1> We want changes to the game, too numerous to mention here
Problem 1> Upjers dosent want to spend the cash to make said changes
Solution 1> Put google as sense on kapilands! Or something like it

Personally I would be happy to have some ads in kapilands even for premium in order to get even a few small changes bumped up the list a bit

What do yall think?

Wouldn't bother me, in some of the other games Upjers do have adverts, to be honest though i'd rather if they did put adverts on they used the revenue to advertise the game and make it busier, the rest can follow on from that, if it wasn't for a paid for advert for kapilands i wouldn't be here now.

I pay money ever month to not see Ads, along with other VIP things. Why would I want to change that?

They have the money, this international version just isn't as active. If we had the people like on the German Welts we would be getting updates.

So upjers can place ads in kapi (near the car/girl/something) and with that money, place ads of kapi in other places!!
will make the game more active, more players = more profit (from both the ads and the premiums :D)

The other upjers game with ads has them wether you pay premium or not, they're only small but very noticeable.

The only problem I find is that nobody I know has ever heard of it before. I know of at least 20 people who are addicted to 24hr browser gaming... and only one of them had 'heard of it', but never has played kapilands.

Where is this game advertised? I mean, I'm not fussed about changes and such... I'm personally content with the options, variety and layout of kapilands as it is... But if population is the problem, then perhaps additional advertising is the key...

I know of, and play, several browser games that I'm sure would be happy to arrange advertising on their sites, and almost none of the thousands of players have even heard of kapilands. Believe me, I've asked.

But we are of course also advertising Kapilands, though I do not have any knowledge as to where and in which way. If we advertise our other games, by the way, we do also advertise Kapilands. All our games have a tool bar, in which you can find the different language versions and check out the other games in that language.

The tool bar itself is being worked on at the moment, and will shortly also include links to our Kapilands Twitter Accounts and Facebook pages. I will also post the links in the forum shortly, so you all can fall our tweets and become our fan, and that way tell your friends on Facebook about this game.

Best regards,

I have about 9 friends on Facebook, and I've never even looked at that tweeter, twitter, twitty thingy before. I do however use a 'GIRC', as my friends call it.

For those who wish to know what a GIRC is, it's a Gamers IRC. The rooms being different games, with entire communities playing those games at that moment, while rabbitting on to one another. I even get a few games in with AOE II, The Age Of Kings, Theme Hospital, and the original Empire Earth. Players love the tycoon games

Facebook may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it tends to bring the word around. ;-)

You can find the fan page under:

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pag ... 369?ref=ts

and our twitter account under:

http://twitter.com/Kapilands_EN

IRC Chats for the game are currently not planned, I am afraid.
