changing the demand
If the demand of gold products was higher, it would open a full new market, and many players would produce gold, dimonds and gold products!

Gold, like everything else, IS VERY profitable IF you make it yourself, AND sell it yourself... Unlike just about everything hooked into the market.
I don't think it's so much the demand factor that's holding it back... We're only supplying about 10% of the demand at present in realm 2...
I think the problem is, few don't want to focus into it, because you can't use the leftovers for anything else.
Besides rings, watches and necklaces, what else can gold and diamonds be used for? Nothing... So if you get an overflow of Gold or silver, you can't very well sell it on the market, because the only people who need it are other jewelers... Who ironically probably already have enough.

And gold isn't made because it's not really profitable, not because it's not in demand.
Gold products are very, very profitable.
One or two players supplied the market, and now there's no demand!
and the 'kapi people' don't need any more dimond rings/watches/neckless.
