Ok, I have 10 factories, and there are times (like during the contests) I set my factory quality down to meet the quality requirement I need. Then when I resume my normal production, let's say steel. I normally just reset all of the factory qualities back to 100. However, there are times I miss one.
What happened most recently, is that I was producing low grade plastic for the monitors. Then my mines finished, and I wanted to resume my steel production for my bikes. Well, 1 factory was overlooked.
So all of the others are producing Q11 Steel, while the one I missed is making Q7. Now what could have prevented this accident aside from the smartass answer, "Paying Attention"?
Hopefully this is a realistic solution. Have a yes or no window pop up and ask, "Are you sure this production order is correct?" And it shows you the factory quality setting, the materials you chose, quantity you typed in, and allows you to make sure you didn't goof.
Now because some people will gripe and moan that is unnecessary or extra work, then have this as an option you can click on and off in the player's profile page. A checked box = Production Check is on. Unchecked it's off.
The only other thing that might put the kibosh on this idea, is that the VIP, paid memberships' Admin Building may already do this. I must admit, I am ignorant to this building's abilities and limitations.
The incident with the steel isn't the first time* this has happened, but there are times I wish a screen, like the one I suggested, was there to prevent a lot of frustration. Losing 4 points in Q for steel for my bikes, can end up hurting me quite a bit on net profits.
* Total times I can recall in the past year I've done this, is 4.

Admin buildings allow you to choose the buildings, select the product, the amount you want to make and have a "Quality" Box at the end for you to decide what quality you want to use. So it isn't completely goon proof either
BUT This is a lot of work for the scripters. In other words they seem to prefer microsofting...
That is to make lots of new products(games) and only make minor updates(spelling mistakes etc) to them and ignore all the obvious ideas and glitches(Ignoring suggestions to improve the current games they have).

Then would you rather have them spending time making this daft proposal than improving the forum or making a new realm?German Trade Unltd wrote:i like the entire idea, and having the option to enable/disable the final submit would be great. but as mentioned above, it most likely won't be implemented because its "too much work" bad excuse for a game that accepts real currency in my opinion.
in realm 3 there will be a different version of kapi, products prices go up and down, and many changes that will change your tactics alot.German Trade Unltd wrote:i'de rather them make it easier for players who already have companies established in the current existing realms, instead of putting all the improvements into the 3rd realm where we all start over
thats why adding them to the exicting realms will make many sad faces
