It would be good if when you send a message and the person reply's that you can see what you sent to them, like you do with emails in real life.

it can get very confusing when your in communications with several people and then one leaves to do somthing for a while, then they reply but you have no idea where you were in the negotiations or chat.

I like that idea as well.
Something like that has been suggested before though, but it has not been implemented (yet?)

What you can also do is, ask people to paste your last message in their reply, and do the same in your reply to them.
I know some people who do it like that.

you can see what you sent to them in your outbox, as long as your correspondent doesnt delete your message (i think, but my thoughts are clouded by the mist of alcohol yet again :D)

Yeah, this is standard in many games and has been suggested before. The option now is to copy and paste, otherwise you get a reply of:

"ok"

to one of several dozen messages you sent 12 hours ago.

I know some people who do it like that.
But I also know people who I asked for a max quantity of 5000 items per contract, and they send 8420.
not everyone will listen to the request, or even read what you ask them to do. :P

having a system that automaticly quotes the original message when you hit reply would be a good thing to have. :)
