Quality Control Center

If I has one Kapi-wish, it would be for a new building... a Quality Control Center. This building would be used to improve or reduce qualities of various products in the warehouse. This would be very useful for everyone, and it would also provide a way to 'strip' quality on products that aren't used in any other production line, like lemons.

But don't you think this makes it too easy? ;-)

E.g. contests with a quality between q1 and aprox. q30 would become senseless by this, at least they would loose lots of their tension, in my opinion.

Now according to the existing system you have to calculate: what do I want, which raw material do I have... and you have to plan your space in the warehouse, as this is limited.

Well it wouldn't be exactly 'cheap' to build this building, it would be restricted to your research level, and you could make it expensive to raise Q levels, to eliminate the problem with contests, or make the time factor not worth it. Mainly, I am thinking of it as a tool that would be available, as an option, where none exists now. You would have to make it more troublesome to raise the Q than to just produce a higher Q, and then it would only be used to 'even up' products... maybe even have it where you put a variety of different Q's in, and it averages them to the same Q out. There are dozens of ways it could be structured, and I think it would provide an interesting twist, as well as a great help to the average player.

I like this idea.

For example 1000 of Item Q0 being "Quality Controled" become 500 Q1 (or some kind of fraction - possibly dependant on level of research of QC center) - then the 500 Q1s become 250 Q2s and so on.

So not very efficient, but a good way to get rid of some of the lower Q products in warehouse.

Could never be applied to power of course, but possibly for water ;)
