More info in the office...

Post by Guest » 16.06.2009, 19:51

Hi,

Isn't it an idea to add some more info in the office then only some random quotes of the secretaresse and those faxes...

like let people know from there when a production has finished and stuff... or researches finished... haven't seen such stuff yet... (only playing for 2days now though...)

Regards,
Happiej

you can just click on "production" or "research" to see what their progress is, so there's no real point in putting the exact same information in the office page as well... :?
You'd need to go to those pages anyway to start up new production or research.

As your level gets higher, the office also becomes a little 'bigger'.
You'll get an adress book so it's easier to keep track of players you're dealing with, and a notepad where you can keep notes.
as soon as you start dealing with players via contracts, the fax system is pretty important as well.
The office also provides a recap on your company finances and a few other things that will be somewhat important as you've been playing for a while.

The office screen is much like a homepage and just allows a neautral area on your accoutn where you can access all other areas without being hindered...

That is the point of a "home" page. Like Google's homepage doesn't tell you the last 10 things people searched for ;) Thats why I like Google...

More on topic. If the office did say that then:

a) It would require programmers to work............
b) It wouldn't add much to the game as all you have to do is click on one of 5links(Message, Contracts, Production, Research, Sales) And you access the majority of your company.
c) How long would messages stay on the office page for? Would they go after the first viewing? In which case it's pretty pointless anyway as when you go back the screen will be blank instead of telling you what to do. If it's left to long though lots of people will get confused.
