i guess on the long temr competition will be boring. how to improve?

i propose that time for competition vary. lets say one competiton is long 3 days, another 3 weeks. because of the different length the tactic should be diferent

that would be quite unfair to people who won the 3 week contest compared to someone winning a 3 day because the 3 week would recieve the same reqard as a 3 day, when he spent probably about 25x more. Also not everyone can get on daily so having it as short as 3 days would make it very unfair. Also another thing is id say 80% of the lemons in this contest where created by farms created after the contest started. If the contest was 3 days or less i doubt many would be building new buildings for 2 days of production. i think the current process is great, and its only in its first week and tycoon already said some changes may be made in the future, lets not rush him.

...first of all I am of the same opinion as Free-Way Gas Productions...

second thing: how do you know that this period won't change? You can never know ;-) The regular period for the contest is two weeks...

Btw: this is our first contest... I do not hope that the second one will become boring just due to the fact, that it will be running for two weeks ;-)

Wrong,
These competitions are destroying the market.
Nobody is selling anything else but lemons, cept noobs, causing inflation in other commodities prices.
Those players buying are only buying lemons, stripping them of capitol needed to buy those items I sell.

contests don't destroy the market, they only have some influence on it, even then, not the contest but the players who decide to buy those lemons for 60 influence it, in real economics things like this also occure, I like it because of the change and speculation.
In this contest many big guys spent a lot of money on lemons, money that went to a lot of clevver small guys who saw an opportunity in the contest to make tons of money with a simple plantation, so instead of destroying the market I'd claim it balances wealth between the poor and the rich which I think will eventualy benefit the market
