Lets Get The Newspapper Back To The Way It Was

Some younger players may not remember, but it you want to see, then go to "office" and look in the Selection part and go to the bottom. There will be a Archive button, click on it. Click on 1 of the earlier news papers (i choose #1 ) and you will see what the newspaper used to look like. Full of articles, funny contest and other things and i would like to get that back. I do not know why the programs have stopped making them, but i think i can remember 1 reason they stated was that people were not sending in things to be be put on the newspaper. SO i have a proposition, Any person that send in a good article that meets the need for the newspaper be added, and as a way of saying thanks the company get 5 (or more) coins . This would get the flow of articles started, and there would be a newspaper again.

Let me know what you think ,and with a little determination we could make Kapilands a better place.

Wow. In edition number one it says that is "a lean edition". It is the biggest newspaper I have ever seen while playing this game.

yeah i liked the old newspaper-didn't they stop the newspaper because of the contest certificate fiasco and they stopped contests for a while so no newspapers and people just forgot about them, people should write articles and just send them in :P

all the newspaper team have to do then is copy and paste them!!!

GoldenEye just moved and didn't have lots of time to take care of the paper in his spare-time. I am sure he appreciates all the help he can get when he has time to work on it!

And there was one newspaper that told kapilanders to send in an application for the newspaper editors, so I did once before and twice after that message. Surely there had to be someone else that sent one in, and if they did you cant hate them as much as me :D.

The newspaper is and has always been a player project, to share their thoughts and experiences on Kapilands, to write stories and also to announce contests.

The idea is that this is a project from players for players, not from admins to players. :-)

If we can find a reliable team to work on it, that'd be great, so far, as GoldenEye has told me, he still needs enthusiastic editors who can help him there.

They should be able to handle html, have a knack for writing and be devoted to getting the paper together on a regular basis. Without this, there probably won't be any paper anytime soon.

Best regards,

pearlbay

So you hate me now?
Wow... that is indeed a really good basis for the possible career of being an editor. :)

But to be honest: Pearlbay wrote everything about this issue... ;)
