[FORUM] Automatic Removal of closed offers

Would it be possible to add a script to the forum code?

It would be esp. helpful if a post has [CLOSED] anywhere in the title if it was automatically deleted, or moved to the last page of posts.

If this is not possible, could the thread creator have a delete post button like on other forums?

It would make browsing offers much easier, if I could see only the current offers available...instead of sifting through pages of inactive offers.

I just simply say automatically remove threads that are longer for 6 months I beleive an auction cannot last that long and purchase threads will then be renewed then

I think just giving the users of the forum the ability to delete a post would be the easiest solution.

If I am not mistaken it is a administrative option in phpBB. I know some of the forums I run have the capability.

1. The posts are not deleted for people to have a bit of insight into history
2. Active threads are usually on page 1 so you dont have to search through *countless* pages.
