Other versions have regular newspapers and contests, it can't be that hard to organize, even if you only have a few players involved. I don't get why the pet food thing doesn't work here, this is the same game as the German version and it works there. I'm not a programmer, but it doesn't seem like it would be all that hard to figure out why it works in one instance and not in another. The thing is, we get some fluffy feel-good reply or brush off when we complain about this, and the problem just continues. We don't need a pacifier, we need the problem fixed!

I understand that you only have the best intentions when criticizing us. Clearly we haven't been as efficient in treating bugs recently as we would like to be. I want you to know that we are not deaf to complaints and that we are doing the best we can to get Kapilands up to speed.

If you'd like to check out the bug section, we have already fixed everything that has been posted here recently (or are working on it), including the pet food problem that you all keep mentioning here (and that one has in fact already been fixed before the thread here was opened).

Now again about the paper - as I have mentioned I think, the newspaper is purely a player project. None of the admin staff has ever been involved in it. So if there hasn't been a paper around for a while, it's because apparently nobody has volunteered to do so. Right now we have a new team that is working on it (as has already been announced in the Times). They have already compiled a few articles and are now working on the layouting. So the first new edition is not far. Once again, this is a purely voluntary project. The more input the team receives, the more ideas and articles, the easier it will be for them to pull new editions together. So it's really up to you players.

Now to address the contest once again - we have had regular contests for a while now, but as you are all well aware, we have been experiencing bugs. Despite all researches, the script seems to be running fine, which is why we have now launched the Apple-contest on Realm 2. As soon as that has ended and the certificates have been set by our tool, one of our programmers will try to track down the bug once and for all. Believe me, I will be the happiest person on this board here when he succeeds.

Thank you for the response, Pearlbay, I know you are trying your best here. The "pet food bug" I have mentioned, is the feature of being able to use the quality pet food in the animal shelter to raise the level of pets you have. This feature does not appear to be available in Realm 1, and it works in the German versions, from what I hear. Do you know of this?

As for the newspaper, I will be happy to help out, and I can also request for members of TIB to write something as well, if content is an issue. Many of us really care about this game and want to make it the best it can be, we just need to know how to help.
