Remove/change/restrict the NPC
They are there for a reason, to provide balance and make sure that bigger players don't dominate smaller ones by buying everything up
That is such a blanket statement refusal when you say, steel is the only manufactured item where there is no competition in the game. You dont make steel, you just buy it from the NPCs and let that be it where in the same breath you allow power to be capped at .27 (obsurd) and wood capped at 75 (again obsurd) yet steel (135) is a reasonable price. Im sorry, steel is not balanced, if it was, then id have no problems.

Im seeing power at .11c, stones at 18c, and wood at 40c chemicals 30c! Yet steel, you decide to black ball? What happends in economies when prices are inflated? More competition and it balances out. If you raise the NPC price on steel and make it comparative to other industries then equilibriums will occur just like it does with other products.

Your reasoning behind your statement is completely illigitimate and false. The easy way youve balanced building costs is low capping steel, taking it out of the market for competition, and calling it good. And its so nice to realize this once your 10 million caps into production. Thanks...

do you have a problem ???

if there is no NPC, the big companies buy all steel, and the small companies have no chance to grow. or do you build new buildings without materials ?

sure, with your start-buildings you can prodcue own steel. and in 2 years, you can build the next one i guess.

To put steel on the market would cost me 13.5c per unit. Thats equivelent to 121.5c per unit if i found a buyer. I can find buyers for 134c for as much as i can produce, so why do you think you would ever see steel on the market when the cap is 135c? You wouldnt, and that why you dont. Thats why they need to raise the cap. Either that, or lower the requirements on steel for buildings. I prefer the latter.
