i m tired from fight sell stuffs only with cents if has more precision points we could sell more for less like gasoline in a gas station has 3 digit points.
if i wanna sell power for 0.049 will be more cheap than 0.05 and will be more than 0.4.
some costs could be in precision points like produce with 3 precision points to be more cheap.
a small change could increase the range fo prices and make the market better.
if you think this will impact the math calc you could put all the system in 3 digit so you doenst need to truncate or round the values.
sell with more precision digits like 3 or more at least 10

Well, even if this game was real life, most of the economy will still be moved around electronically instead of physically. It is not like will all will have 5 million in cash lying on your desk and have to have somebody deliver it to other companies. I actually like this idea as long as it doesn't get applied to stores because will must still assume that people will pay in cash or credit which will not be complex enough to handle fractions of a cent.
Have you checked the price at a gas station in the last 20 years?
(In the US, don't know how they handle it elsewhere.)
Of course in that case they still sell by the cent, usually the whole dollar even. But the price is listed as $2.89(9).
Anyway, back to the question here. I can see the appeal certainly - power and water are the only products where you have to drop 10% or more just to edge out the competition. It would be nice if you could use an extra digit, and restrict purchases to units of 10.
But I don't think it's something necessary, do you? There's something nice about the fact that it's one of the few products where people aren't incenssantly undercutting each other and are willing to match the last guy.
