Maximum ad points 40k

If you only get bonuses in your stores for up to 40k points in advertising then why doesn't the system stop you from adding more then 40k? For newer players who don't know there is a 'maximum' bonus this is a very expensive/costly mistake.

I didn't know new players spent over 1.6+ mill each store in ads.

I do agree that there should be a message warning you when you go over the 40,000 mark.
