Economic Event
I think if there an economic event is more realistic ,like suddenly price of Steel drop because of the government price ceiling (maximum price)
,anything may happened in the real world so i suggest it will same in the Kapilands,it's more fun and though!! [/b]

Maybe it would be more fun, but it would get very confusing,

SO you take the steel of markewt and loss of 10% and put it back for 127c. wait...... message saying that your steel has sold for 127c. The guy sends you a igm, Why so low? can i buy on contracte? you start wondering you check market price steel= 135c

meh..
might be a bit of a headach i reacon just adding events for when your producing.. like for power " the power plant has had a slight bug in the mainfraim " you lose maybe 15% of the power produced.. or maybe for wood and other fruit thingos " Due to more rain then normal your crops have grown better then normal " and you gain 15% but i'm not going to go into detail ;p
may or maynot be a good idea ;p i reacon it might.. work better then economic events o_o
maybe 15% is 2 much.. anywho ;p

Actually he's kind of in a grey zone since it's an image and it meets the banner requirement of being <= 150 pixels high. But since it looks like lines of text I'm not sure it would qualify as banner in the first place. We'll have to think about that.James your signature is to long its max 4 lines youll get nailled by a mod.
Re: topic
The potential problem with that kind of event is that it doesn't hit equally. The person who produces for 12 hours at a time and loses 15% of his production is much much better off than someone who produces 3 days at a time and loses 15%. It's not a good game idea to affect people like that. (To say nothing of the technical details of such a system.)
There are "events" in the game. (If you do a search for threads with the word "spoiler" you'll see a few.) They are far less intrusive than what you describe, and perhaps could be ramped up a bit, but they do add something of an extra element to the game. And I understand there are more hidden in the system that no one has seen yet.
