Ideas how the game could be improved and suggestions for subsequent versions of the game. (this is just a space for ideas! We can't guarantee suggestions will be implemented!)

Mobile client/app for kapilands ?

Post by Guest » 28.10.2010, 06:37

As we all know, there is a lot of action on the mobile telephone market, thanks to Android, iOS/iPhone and the apps for those 2 platforms. Gaming is being touted as a big thing on those platforms, so I was wondering, are there any plans for a mobile kapilands app/client?

Not that the moment, but our company is of course interested in the new technologies as well, so I wouldn't rule it out altogether. :-)

Kapilands already works perfectly on android 2.2, on 1.5/1.6/2.1 the only thing that doesn't work is the flash graphics on the front page, as far as i've seen it's one of the only upjers games that will work, the rest seem to use drag and drop for different things in the game which just does not work,

I don't think it would be hard to convert the rest by simply adding a extra page on the games which only required clicks not drag and drop and having a option in your profile to use this option instead, so if the option was selected in your profile it would automatically take you to the click page not the drag and drop page, which would make all games mobile friendly.

To all Players and Kapilands Management

Dear All Players & Kapilands Management

Just to clarify I do think the game of Kapilands is a great idea and a great hobby not only a game. The main aspect of the game I do find in my 2 years of playing is that there is no change. This game could become much more than what it is today and I dont think anybody can deny that. Why do the owners put up suggestion forums when none of the game will never change? We are the players, we are the consumers of Kapilands. Listen to your customers !!!!!!!! Who actually owns the game anyway? I'd just like to congratulate him/her on it but please change the game in order to make it more exciting and draw in more users. I hope people agree and that top management listen to my comment. Thanks in adavnce.

Kind Regards,

H Ltd.

I don't agree with you completely, upjers can't accommodate every individual player, or every wish of those players. There is a kind of philosophy behind this game, like all games, and it's their choice to decide if a suggestion matches that, and will be implemented. Luckily for us customers, if they keep rejecting all the suggestions (which they don't fortunately), there are other games out there.

I would be disappointed if they didn't even react to my, or other suggestions posted here, but they do.

Changes have been implemented in the past.
Though most of the accepted suggestions are used for future versions of the game instead of the current version, so you just don't see them yet.
The fact that you can't see them implemented doesn't mean that it's not happening behind the scenes.
And various things have changed even in the current version.

You people are way too negative.

I think the problem lies with the consumer and not the game provider. How many other browser games do you play solidly for 2 or more years ?

I see these requests for changes from people who have played for a long time and have got bored with the game, but don't forget it's taken 2 years or so for you to get bored.

The game shouldn't be changed to satisfy it's long term members as that would change what is obviously a winning formula. Try to cope with your boredom by setting yourself different challenges and maybe the spark will come back for you.

I agree with you up to a point, but this is about a possible mobile client for kapilands. So It wouldn't be any changes to the functionality of the game or gameplay, only to the client the game runs on.
