"Realm discussion" Board

Of course we could give this a try but I don't see the point in it.

As some of you know I am also active in several German upjers-forums, too, and every single one is more active than in here. But even in that forums where more players write discussion-postings it does not come to any confusions.
Most of the times players write "Hey, I am from R x" and then the answers are exactely for R x. From time to time it can be interesting to get an answer from R y, too, in order to see how something can develope.

Yet the main "contra"-argument is that a too detailed seperation of the forums will definetely split the activity. And thus we may still have got the same "activity" as now but it is then divided into two parts and each part is less active then.

And about the ingame-forums: In Kapilands the board and the game are located on different servers which would it make difficult to connect them.

Alas the problem we have here is people assuming that other people know what realm they play, it's obvious to you but not to others. So while on the more active servers people know there are so many people that they aren't famous enough to expect others to know their realm, but here there are so few of us....

Anyway how can we encourage people to use the forum?

stop with the realm 3 already... wont be out anytime soon.

and for the forum, an admin/rich player can send faxes with the link to the forum, and to tell players to come visit it

in realm 2 the coins aren't expensive so it's simple, and if i were there I would have done it... but in realm one fax worth 1.5bil caps too high for me

The secretary already mentions it in one or two different messages in the Office.

Lets be honest you're whizzing through the game... you aren't gonna read that properly. How about we have a competition of some sort. First person to write a certain key phrase in a certain section of the forum, of which no-one knows which part of the forum it is or what the word is. We advertise that on a whole big page of kapilands as you log in, so not a subtle hint a really obviosu one.

Rules are you can't spam the froums or you'll be removed and you must abide by all the other forum rules. Winner gets 40coins on whatever realm they want.
