... and stop buying coins.

Why should we continue to support a game with real cash when we get no service in return? (Not to mention we have no contest, a large part of the game, or newspaper . ) The last Admin to post in the "Bug" forum was Tycoon on 6.09.2007. But, Zbombe had the urge to post in the "Get Coins for Linking to Kapilands.com!" thread on 18.09.2007!

How can we get the attention of those in charge? We cannot go spam the German forum . We could try and spam nasenprinz forum PM box, but that would fill up to fast and I don't know if he ever checks it. The only reasonable way is to stop the money flow. If they, all of the sudden, couldn't make a dime on the English version they would have to check out why and do something about it. They couldn't affored not to change things if they where losing lots of money.

Stand up and stop buying coins. (Don't buy coins with cash or coins from players. That is the only way to stop others from buying coins aswell.)

My two cents...

Lets see how quickly an admin deletes this thread!!
I love this game, but am shocked that the owners seem to care so little about it. The "Suggestions and Proposals" board is useless, as is trying to speak to one of the mods! And the lack of newspaper/contest is crazy. What's changed since the last issue? Does no-one but Tycoon has the ability to manually upload the newspaper? If not - it's simply crazy!!

I think it's a shame since it's such a great game.

Well I didn't really plan to say anything yet, but there's a new upjers representative starting in, dedicated to the English version, next week. I don't know all the details specifically related to the newspaper, but this is a direct link to upjers and before getting too involved in any protest may I suggest seeing how she shakes out?

More details to follow, but I thought you deserved at least what information I have to give.

What I mean is exactly what I said!!! It's good news that they have a dedicated administrator assigned to the English version of kapilands.

we'll have to wait and see if this new staff member is any good.

If not i suggest we start sending complaints to mail@upjers.com

I think sending mails to upjers GmbH is better than not buying coins any more. I fear that the only effect it will have is, that the price for coins is rising even faster than it usually does. This would hurt mainly the players, but not so much the company.

I suggested a few weeks ago, that the support is going down, because the profit of the English version is not as the company expected. Because there are far more players in the German versions, and also in the forum. So this could have been the reason why the problems started. (Everything speculative)
So maybe it would be the easiest thing to close down the English game and continue with German ones.

So I agree with Tim that the best thing to do would be to write to the company (Not to a moderator) and tell them how much we like the game, but if the support does not come back (newspaper, contest, etc...) we will have to leaver the game...

Greets.

Read this and give em a chance....
Some members are doing a really good job.
I think here are just some moderators missing. Thats all.
And it could happen to everybody to have no time from now up because of the stressfull job or a new job or other things like that

You guys are probably freaking out a bit too much. Its still a great game and I m sure they ll figure out these small things pretty soon. However I still think this site needs a full time moderator or more part time people. It currently seems like that when one guy goes down the whole site stops functioning. At least the newspaper, contest part anyway. Getting the players more involved and creating a better community would obviously help.
