Construction as and Industry
I was just wondering if anybody knows of a player who has gone to construction as a main source of income.
I was wondering if this had occurred since APCE mentioned that a chem RC in R1 can sell for 100b maxed out. SO if I expanded 100 chem RCs for a year (35k expansion a year) I would end up with 10t (trillion) at sale time for 100b costs. Thats 10,000% a year ROI. SO a maxed out gas producer would make under 10% of that a year
Just wondering...

some of the prices factories and joineries are selling for right now, it would be worth it to make construction your business up until a certain size. the profits on my factories is a little over $250k/hr at 3720sqm. They are people offering 300k/sqm for factories (realm 1). It makes more sense for me to expand my factories and sell them than to keep producing gas.
buildings like power plants are not worth it.
you just need to consider the opportunity cost of expanding rather than making products and selling them. and the fun factor

i did this a while ago, i built 10 power plants and expanded them to 1000m, this took around 20 days. i was going to sell them on for 75million each, so 50million profit per building. but they are hard to sell, i ended up selling most of them for 55million, so its still over 25million profit per building.
it would be good for poorer players, that can just afford to pay for the raw materials. as for expanding for a whole year, i dont think that is good, because you have to think about what other buildings could make you in that time

well i never tried construction but research as an end product can be very profitable.
a 20250 mine and well rc brought me 22m daily when i sold my q91 oil research for 7,5b, which is a nice profit for a 20000m building, compared to a factory which brings about 16m daily. (producing gas q54 using 108 gas research) then i tried lower qualities for oil (as i already had a maxed rc building) which worked good to.
now i sold my rc building as i didnt have the patience to start researching oil from q0 again,....

Actually,VerConMat Industries BV wrote:But beside all that, I have heard of players that do build/expand buildings just to sell them later on.
I'm not sure if any of them are profitable to do or not, but some people have done it on a small scale at the very least
Now that I'm inactive ingame, I only expend buildings and sell them.
It saves me all the time I used to spend on kapi and I still have a nice profit.

If you have factories 6000m2++ I will be ready to buy 300K per m2 as my seller said
