Improve other economies :)

Post by Guest » 02.11.2009, 16:27

Hey. To start, I have one question, why does everyone think wardrobes is top product on market? Also, I have made this topic to improve other products and economies, such as car business, which I am thinking of helping small companies to grow into businesses liek these. Maybe also food business, toy business, plantation business, and cattle breeding business. Dont you think that there should be more companies producing this? I am a company that avoids starting a wardrobe business, and helps improve other economies, so lets discuss now :).

In Germany, you should see the supply and demand for shoes
I agree with you though.I dont think that many people joined to make wardrobes before they saw the money it would make!

There is a simple answer, price cap. All items have a price cap on the Stats page. Food, for example, usually prices out around 24 to 40c compared to cars which have a price cap of 150,000c. (You can still sell for higher prices than the price cap but times slows down.)

Shoes will never make money in stores. Why? The price cap for shoes is 600c. They require 0.5 leather, 1 textile and 300 power plus the production cost. That is over 700c when using the market prices.

for lower price, you lose money because you can sell for higher :)

for higher, it takes more time to sell

I believe that this topic should show a list for Good Products to make for these Company Size Rankings

We can have...

MINISCULE-(Dishwasher-Trader)
VERY SMALL-(Small Businessman-Wholesaler)
SMALL-(Manager-Entrepreneur)
MID-SIZED-(LSM-Industrialist)
BIG-(Billionaire-Tycoon)
HUGE-(Financial Magnate-Trillionaire)

Then,a list of products you should NEVER MAKE. Anyone want to help?

Yes, this is quite strange that there is one business - wardrobes that are very crowded with companies producing and selling them. But like in shoes or sausages or any other low supply companies are not here. In real life there should be very high competition between companies producing and selling wardrobes, and very easy to go into other business industry because of low supply but huge demand.

But here to go in shoe business, because of price cap...

By the way where can I see price caps for each product?

... 0.01 --> 1 ... 10000%increase? I think not :P

Steel first. Change that to 200+ and then change the system so if supply is low price shoots up- people have to eat! Eventually all sectors will find a balance. But it won't happen ;) :P

Exactly my point, why not try and imoprove this economies by helping in raising prices? Help small companies grow into them and they would have a better economy. NPC products cannot be improved since they have a stable price, but why not improve food industry, fruit industry, car indsutry???? This is why I made this topic, to start helping other industries as well.

to fix ads make you have to renew the ads every 3 months so everyone still has to buy ads.

The car industry does not need fixing. Look at Marxer on both Realms. ;)

I don't see any fixing possible for food/fruit. When was the last time you bought a 40 dollar/euro loaf of bread? Food is always sold for low prices in the real world. Why would the game be any different?

Steel cannot be fixed due to the NPC price. You can sell the parts for more than steel itself on the market.

Silver necklaces have a price cap of 4000c? You can get way more money than that buy selling the silver to Diamond Ring producers.

Well, in real life, we dont have very high prices, but its not fun having certain types of products run the whole economy.

Have you seen any car producers on realm 1 other than marxer?
