I'd recomend building a power station (in green maybe not sure), a mine in Yellow and mine for stones and try and sell them via contract (cheaper than the market due to no comission).

Its a good idea to build a power station because you can produce power for 0.01c where as the cheapest you'll get it on the markets 0.07c.

First, reset your account.

In Game
>> Office
>> Profile
>> Start over with tutorial !

Then pick a product to produce.
Good main businesses:
Wardrobes
Golden Necklaces
TVs
Gas
Oil
Wood
Leather Jackets
Stone
Water
Pullovers
Cabriolets

Pick the main business and focus on making and retailing the final products. Buy the products needed as it will give you extra building spaces which will come in handy down the road.

Products to stay away from:
All fruit
All food (except chickens and high quality beef)
Steel
Silver
Silver necklaces

Remember to build buildings in the currect area, too.

Azer,

I would not consider these hints as useless, BUT imagine EVERYBODY would stick to the production of the products mentioned?

There would not be many fruit on the market, would it be?

At this point I would like to thank you, because without you, I didn't have the size I have now (and hope you are still trading with me in the future, though this post). Okay, you might now state I could be a lot bigger, that I am if I had considered this hints, BUT then again, I consider this as a game and my aim is not a No.1-Position, I just like producing and trading roundabout...

Of course, the good thing about this game is there is no main winning. You can play the game for fun any way you wish. If you wish to make products like fruit and food so be it. (Somebody has to for all those Kindergardeners.) However, when someone is starting out it is best to get them right into money making. Later down the road, when they have the cash flow, they can either change industries or produce something else as a side business. ;)

Well, when I just had a small company... Now I have a small big one or better a big small one? However...

I did start off quiet similar to the suggested way of doublepeg (well after relocating my plantation from yellow to green) and I was well *censored* by the market price of water, power and stones so I decided to produce this myself - and on it went...

The invention of the kindergarten, hospital, homeless shelter and the nursing home (and all the players who need the according products in unimaginarable amounts) help even starters a lot to collect certain money. My experience.

Now its up to Hellowkitty to decide what to do :D

P.S.: I could do with some more small power suppliers 8)
