Hello,

I have one question. How many players are there in Kapilands?

There is about 200,000 accounts. Around 120,000 on Realm 1 and 80,000 on Realm 2 if I remember what GoldenEye told me right.

I bet most aren't really active.

I know a few friends of mine who had an account there, but i don't think any of them is active anymore.

But same with me on the dutch server, i got an account there but can't say i'm active.
There just isn't any decent market over there so its boring to me

We cant tell who is still active, but i think its at least 45,000 active players in Realm 1

i would rather say theres about 1-2k active players in R1 at most.

lets make an approximation:

set the limit of 100 mil in fixed assets to consider a company active. You can make 100mil f.a. from scrap in about 3 months. This server has been running for a bit over 2 years and 1 month, thats 25 months. so to improve our approximation, lets say there are (25+3)/25*0.9N active companies. here N is number of companies with over 100mil fixed assets and (25+3)/25 is the actual ratio of active companies which includes the companies that started in the last 3 months and didnt have time to come over 100mil f.a. yet. we also consider 10% of those over 100mil is inactive, hence the 0.9 factor.

so, there are exactly 1667 companies over 100mil f.a. at the moment. multiply this with (25+3)/25*0.9 which gives us a rough estimate of 1700 active companies (rounded).

but I would have to agree with him, that is about it, because if you look there are only ≈2500 members on the forum and only 1/3 of them are active

I checked a few websites that tracks traffic flow. The results estimate around 6,000 to 7,000 unique hits, active players.
