contracs...just a question
Hello there!
I'm new here, but I read all about contracts between players... my question is the following: is it possible to send a contract wich will send a x-amount of goods every day without actually send the goods manually every single day? So that I can be offline for 2 days or so, but that the goods still will be send...
I hope you understand what I mean, as English isn't my first language..
thnx in advance!

Well... I do not want to destroy your hopes, but...
Kapilands wants to remunerate only those who are active. And those should have the chance to earn more money than others.
So if the programmers would implement such a feature then it would me that you could login only once e.g. every two weeks and produce for that time and set your new "daily contract-feature" and you would still earn the same as someone that is active every day...
It's kind of unfair, isn't it?

Agreed completely with golden eye.
Although it would be a useful addition, It would give us a reason not to play so often. Can you imagine a world without kapilands?
Anyway, to send contracts daily, means you'd have to produce daily, meaning you'd need to have a daily production option too...
Then maybe you could access a monthly premium membership update option... And then an automatic computer switch on button....
Sorry. getting carried away....

Such an update would be usefull if you don't have time for a couple of days/weeks, but ofcourse you can also get a holiday replacement for that.
Or produce as much as you can, keep it in stock and send contracts in advance when you need to.
Sending contracts automatically or set production automatically as I also read somewhere would make this game kind of senseless since it is all about doing business, making deals, watch the market and so on, its an active game, thats what makes it so interesting.
Setting everything automatically is kind of taking the soul out of the game in my opinion.

Re: contracs...just a question
this game already has limited game time...so auto contracts would make it even worseRDinger wrote:Hello there!

Thnx for the replies!
I understand why there isn't such a feature, and I reckon the critisism of letting some kind of auto-pilot take over your game. But even with a contract you should watch the market for a cheaper buyer/ shipper. That's part of your job... finding cheaper sources...
It would make things a little bit more clearer if you have several different daily deliveries to make with differend products, don't you think?
Real life companies also have this option for their logistics and they can't go on holiday 365 days a year...
Offcourse I understand the differences between this game and a real-life company but I do hope you get my point.

Personally, I get your point.
In real business, there is an opportunity to assign someone to take care of things within reason, while you have time to breath. Unfortunately, I also feel that people compare this game to real life a little too much.
If we were to compare every aspect of this game to real life, I'd have to ask why it costs 13,85 for a can of cola, or what Kindergarten would want with about 3,000 stuffed toys.
I do notice, also, that nobody complains that in real life, it can take two years to construct a building, but on here, a maximum of about 6 hours.
Or that the mines and wells have an endless supply of gold and oil, whereas real life means you have to relocate occasionally.
I think we all need to love the game for what it is, and just assume that suggestions like this haven't been implemented for a reason.
Hope you find a good midway solution.
