LOW ELEMENT SUPPLIERS
Moderator: moderators
I hate the point where everyone doesnt listen why we need to raise the prices. Dont you see that the number of suppliers for elements are low? And why are they low? Because we dont pay them high enough and to pay high enough we need to raise the prices. The prices are perfect now, but dont you think element suppliers need some more money and more profit? When we raise our prices for buying elements, more people would want to produce elements. Think about these products: plastic, glass, and steel. Why arent there suppliers for these products? Because they have low profit because of low prices. Now, if someone didnt still get my point, then please dont post unless you want to raise prices and you are willing to take action.
I think there is another problem regarding those items.atanesa wrote:When we raise our prices for buying elements, more people would want to produce elements. Think about these products: plastic, glass, and steel.
They are so easy to produce, yet you hardly need any of it when producing the best profit items.
Thats why you don't see to many offers.
The market gets flooded the minute someone starts producing them.
I think most people have a supplier for those items and won't need to buy from the market while producers have their customers they sell to.
Just have a look at Chemicals and their rediculous value.
That isn't cuz customers aren't willing to pay but only cuz there are to many chems produced and you hardly need any for your factories.
1 Factory can produce so much Chems/Glass, why would someone not just have 1 factory and produce its own to make sure he has the item when supply is low.
Result, there are hardly any customers cuz most decided to produce their own.
Any gas producer can flood his warhouse with chems/gas within a day.
Same for many other products.
Cattle breedings can produce so much daily your stores/factories won't be able to keep up selling and processing them.
To many people continue producing goods that don't make any profit while demand is low...i don't think any of us could really make the price go up for a longer period of time.
Check Lambs.
They have been 200+ for some time.
Hardly anybody wants to produce them, there is some demand, but then again demand is limited to animal food producers...
During the contest the priced plumbed in no time due to many people suddenly start producing them.
How many Contests have you seen where with 1 week to go the material to produce the CP dropped that much?
Usually i can buy some nice stock of a product after the contest, but with the Lamb contest i was stockpiling my Lambs stock DURING the contest...
Obviously cuz you hardly need any Lambs to produce the things you want to produce and TO many people can produce them in huge numbers...
That, in my opinion, is the main problem regarding several "raw" materials.
But, i dont want to use up my building space to produce them. And i want a supplier for glass and plastic and steel. I have been advertising for about 1 week, and i only got 1 message for each product with a high price. I need atleast 234,000 glass daily to start producing my tvs. And you say there are many offers on market and a lot of suppliers but no demand, well to my view, demand is high. Look at all the companies that sell tvs. Now i saw three fourth of these companies and they all pay to buy elements and thats a high demand dont you think? And i didnt mention chemicals because i know how low they sell for and they have a high supply. But look at glass, very low supply, and im offering an excellent price for it. See, its not about demand, its about supply.
As for you podge, for the last time, i opened this thread for people who are willing to join and take action, not sit back and just talk about it. I opened it for some discussions, but some people think im not supposed to raise prices and my point is to raise prices so save and keep a stable supply.
And for all people who dont know yet, my point is to raise prices and save low supply and stable it. Forget my first point and just look at this one. And people who are willing to take action only post.

1. Because I looked at the Stats page.Ronintje wrote:Also, how do you know these items are at their price cap?
Aren't those caps secret?
Don't they change over time?
2. They are no secret. Just compare the Stats page on either Realm 1 or 2 to any of the Welt servers.
3. Price caps never change. They are the same on all the servers of Kapilands and Kapiland.
Here are just a few price caps for you:
Leather Jackets - 2400 caps
Golden Necklaces - 12000 caps
Golden Watches - 12000 caps
Cabriolets - 150000 caps
Cars - 150000 caps
Motorbikes - 60000 caps
Pullovers - 600 caps
Leather Gloves - 600 caps
Chairs - 1500 caps
Banana ice cream - 60 caps
Diamond Rings - 24000 caps
Lotions - 120 caps
Apples - 24 caps
Apple Juice - 40 caps
Banana - 24 caps
Gas - 60 caps
Beer - 40 caps
Pears - 24 caps
Bread - 24 caps
Silver Necklaces - 4000 caps
In order for glass to be reasonably profitable compared to producing best profit products, it would need to be worth about 350 caps per unit. Which is by all means achievable by high quality glass. Problem is there is little products which require glass.
Lets see todays statistics for r1:
700k TVs sold . 1050k glass
60k monitors sold - 60k glass
140k shampoo sold - 70k glass
270k perfumes sold - 135k glass
10k cabriolets sold - 100k glass
Other industries use so little glass i didnt even include them in my calculations
In total: 1415k glass. Daily. Not a big market for glass there, because a big industrialist with 30 factories of 8k sqm can cover needs of all the kapilands.
Similar with plastic. Comparable price here would be also around 350 caps per unit.
Consumption of plastic:
700k computers - 1120k plastic (including the required CPU)
60k monitors - 120k plastic
700k televisions - 3570k plastic
10k cabriolets - 1200k plastic
Again i didnt include other industries due to their low consumption of plastic.
In total 6000k plastic daily. This can be produced by 2 big industrialists with 70 8k sqm factories each.
such small market is prone to big fluctuations as soon as some bigger players stop buying / new producers emerge. Probably that is why no one wants to get into the business. And many people produce their own input materials.
On the other hand, this is a tempting market for anyone to try to take over it, building up a high quality glass/plastics industry and first selling for low prices in order to get rid of competition, and then, when the competition is gone, rise his prices outrageously to get massive profits

I WAS JUST THINKING OF PRODUCING GLASS LOL LOL LOL. Anyways, look at large electronic companies, almost thre fourth of them demand glass, and i dont think they have found suppliers. Im thinking of forming a glass producing company instead of televisions. What do you think? And i could save the low supply and control the market lol
. Then, i would be ruling glass
I would be called the glass house, clear and clean glass!

I will supply the Quartzatanesa wrote:I WAS JUST THINKING OF PRODUCING GLASS LOL LOL LOL.
