Just sell higher than the stats-price - and everything is ok.
I sell for 95 at the moment - full load in round about 53 hours.

So I have my own rythm.
And there are other products where you have to move away from a 24-hours-rythm. Diamond rings and tv's for example. But I think that are things you should find out yourself ;)

I was once in TVs but that was a long time ago before i even thought about being serious about selling stores. I believe i sold in full stores for 24hrs. I made a profit but wasn't making profit that i should have been making.

drenin: It shouldn't matter if your stores are full or not, just sell it at the best price and if you sell 1000 or 5000 it should make the same profit.
(but if you ask me what the best price is......)

I understand Greed, thanks, :D and yes I am using the correct sheet, (I hope, since that is the one I have been using from the beginning, and I never should have stopped using it)
I am using this one.

its simple to calculate the correct price. just take the profit per unit of product and multiply it with number of products an employee sells in a time unit. that way you get profit per time unit per employee, which is the real indicator of how much you earn. 8)

GREED inc. wrote: a positive effect of pricing like this and not like sally is that, evene though you earn more, you use less products -> more on market -> lower buying price from other players -> more profit, and also you increase stats price -> higher selling price in stores -> more profit

See, this is what i want to tell, but with my limited knowledge of english language i would never have been able to post it this clearly :D

sally wrote:Wardrobes 75 per quality in storeprice, that means I am paying my wardrobe suppliers way to much (100 per Q).

Maybe I should send you (Greed/Ronintje) my account info so you can set my store prices for me..

Indeed 100 is way to much.

Just check it.
Sell 1 store Q0 and 1 store Q1.
Then get the same selling time on the Q1 items and check the sale price.

However, the more expensive you sell the more bonus you get.
At least i think it did.
Been some time since i checked that all.

And about sending me your info, i never used sheets or anything.
I just give it a try with various pricing and quickly check the numbers and profit compared to sales time.

If i buy at 1000, sell at 1500 and it takes 1 day to sell.
Then i put them at 2000 and it takes 2 days to sell, then i know the daily profit is the same so i use the 2 day cycle since i need less items to get the same profit.

I just do it like we dutch say: "Op het gevoel"..
You know the expression :D

These posts today have cleared up something that's been bugging me for weeks.

Having seen posts saying quality is worth this or worth that, I always assumed that this value was added to the optimum selling price.

Never having been able to fully stock my store I never see a price change for quality, just a reduction in selling time and the optimum price remains the same or thereabouts whatever the quality(well upto 15 anyway)

My tired but so far true method is smple:
Fully load your store with product, pick a resonable price then jump up + down by 10% and put the formula

(Price-cost*) x Amount / time ** space***

* Cost you can buy for, or sell if you make it
** Hours usualy or to be more presice use minutes
*** I get the stats for 1k of space usualy to compare but its up to you if you want per person ect ect

If you do this for 3 prices you can tell what way the numbers are trending then increase/decrease your price and do it again, for a new market it takes a few goes but once you get the hang of where prices are sitting you can do it in seconds. Its easy done in excel, just ask me to send you mine :D

Now that you have this you can play with the numbers to see profit per hour, day or even second :D

You can also see the profit each type of building brings in. ie: Gas Stations to Factories to Mines so you know what area to focus on :P

Also ill happily have a play at your co if you want :D I assume you trust me enough 8), seriously I do want to have a look so if you want ill show you mine if you show me yours :P

Lol, no I won't show you mine!
Not because I don't trust you (I do) but because I already am using Knolls method again which is roughly the same method you are using by the looks of it. (except for the space).
I have been trying to do it differently for a while, thinking I found the easy way out and never having to do those calculations again, but as Ronintje and Greed pointed out that was kind of stupid. :D
So I am back to testing prices and finding the perfect selling price the boring but accurate way.

After a while of playing this game I start to get bored, and then I try to find other and easier ways to do things and I get entangled in strange calculations and silly theories and I drift into this crazy universe of numbers and formulas where 1+1 seems to be 3 all of a sudden..
