Our companies losing value???

Post by Guest » 19.12.2008, 07:02

are our comapnies losing value?? in REAL terms??

what i mean here is this..... our companies are losing value due to the inflation in kapilands, especially of coins

i am comparing our company values to the coin values because coins are the only thing that can be bought with REAL LIFE money ie. euros

1 year ago...........
my company value is just 280,000,000 caps
coins are sold at 15 million then
my company is worth 18.67 coins then

Now, my company value is around 500 million
coins are sold for 76 million each
my company value is now just worth 6.67 coins

My real company value is only 33% of the value 1 year ago!!!

come join in the calculations and see how much u lost

1 year ago my company was worth about 300 millions (in fixed assets), so if the coins really were 15 mil, that was 20 coins. Now its 5.6 billions (in f.a.) and the coins say 75 mil, my company is worth 74.67 coins. Index of growth is 3.7 (my company is worth 370% the value before one year

you cannot compare you fixed assets with the value of the coins...

the coins are in the game to pay the program-makers... and to let you make a fax or buy status-symbols or taking advantage of a premium account... it has really nothing to do with your FA...

But as you want...
1 year ago comapny vaule was 900million
worth 60 coins (@15m)
worth 12 coins (@75m)

now company value 9.4billion
worth 125coins (@75m)

As you can see in first calculation i put also at 75m... because you only can compare with same prices...

but maybe you have to question how much your company has grown... without considering about coins... :)

you only gained 220million fa in one year? my company had a fa of 500mill (ore around there, maybe even less) a year ago, an now im up to 2.3 billion, and i took about a 4-5 month break in between

I guess Gevron made some bad choices during the last 12 months.

I know my company is worth a lot more then 12 months ago.

I always wondered why some people produce stuff which doesn't make a profit and i guess that is what happens when you do that.
You just don't grow.

Don't produce useless stuff which cost you more then it brings you when you sell it.
Use the right numbers when you make the count of product cost.

I never understand why people manage to use 0.01 for power in their production cost when they can sell the power at 0.20 easily.
I recently had a chat with someone who told me he could produce gold at 60 each when i get to 250 each using the value of the products needed to produce the gold.

But hey, its a free world and when you want to make products that don't give you a profit you are allowed to do so :)

Well, inactivity makes your company lose value..

But still, the coins went up a lot during the last month.
So even when you had been active, last month your company would have become worth less even when you made right decisions :)

The jump from 40M to 70M per coin just went real fast with a few companies buying all coins and boosting the coin value.
