Advertisements - a bug?

Advertisements - a bug?
I have 3 jewellry stores. I finally got to be able to produce Q6 adverts, so I have been making them in batches of 100. 6 times now I have put my 100 Q6 adverts into my stores and on each occasion the time to sell has increased instead of decreased!
What gives? Surely this must be a bug? What is the point of advertising if it takes longer to sell?
I dont know whether this matters, but my stores are in each of the three red areas and each with a size of 50.

I think what you're seeing is just the market naturally changing over time (getting used to higher products) and that your advertisements aren't enough to reverse that.
A full store takes 40,000 advertising points.
You're adding 700 at a time.
Even counting all 6 days together, that's barely 1%. It's a very small effect, considering the market averages are re-calculated every day and in most cases average quality just keeps getting better.
However, that doesn't mean there can't be a bug. Here's how I would test it:
1. Try to get a bunch of ads - maybe several batchesif you can.
2. Load your Jewelery store with product and set the price / time to what you want. Note exactly what the time to end is.
3. With the store running, install the advertisements.
4. Watch if the time goes down (even a little).
If time goes up on a running factory with a significant number of advertisements added, then I would say that's definitely something weird and it warrants further investigation.

The solution of your problem is:TigerTiger wrote:... and on each occasion the time to sell has increased instead of decreased! ...
when you drop advertisment in your shops they start selling new - instead of continuing with the old time

It is no bug. Just a new process starts. So you got new selling times which depend on the stats.
I recently received this award :
"Hello boss,
the mayor of Kapiland referred to your company as exemplary for this region. That is good publicity. You get 500 advertisement Q2."
So that's 1500 ads, i had put it all in a store of 20 m2, in order to compare the effect of the ads vs. another store in the same country with the same size.
The effect is 0,20 kapis
I can sell the same amount of goods at 0,20 more in the store with 1500 ads than in the store without it. So its not a bug, just compare the effect with another similar store.
