Unfortunately, many players have quit, but there are still active players so far. For some reason they don't use forum anymore. That is why the game looks so abandoned. I, myself was inactive for more than 1 year, but recently I returned.
Developers need to invest in this game if they want to keep the game alive, otherwise those who are still active will quit as well. It is very sad to see Kapilands so abandoned

Some players have quit. Some new business names are appearing in the market meaning some new businesses have also opened.
However you are right in saying the forums other than the advertisement pages have died down quite a bit. All game topics have been fully discussed and there has been no new game content for some time.
The game interaction continues by talking to people who advertise in the market directly by pm.

It would be great to hear some information from Upjers team. What are their plans for this game in near future!?
Players who reach, lets say, end game phase - all buildings maxed out, goes into routine. Just select new production and put in sale produced materials. Fax list is almost all time empty. Forum is silent. To be in contest Top 100, is easy.
My opinion that there is no end game stuff for this game. When your developement stops, then this game becomes boaring. There must be new features. If this game will not change, then later there will be no players at all.
