Recent orange contest

Seemed an odd one. Higher volumes of the contest product you'd expect with oranges, but the price as high as if it was a rarer/more expensive good- i'd say average price of 2000 on r2. Looking at the winner thats a cost of 80billion, and 200million for me coming 102nd. Admittedly was an opportunity cost for me as self produced. Seems v high though, and was an unusual late flurry of entries to push me out of top 100. Perhaps contests/the game gaining popularity and this will continue

Jackets wanted to win and did so.. also philein said he had 15+21 millions oranges 36 millions so jackets needed at least 40-45 millions of them.. but the last one didn't appear..

I hope Dan is right and the contest is gaining popularity. It's not only fun to compete, but also in helping smaller companies gain some caps rapidly.

I think there's a sudden interest on both realms at the minute due to some info in this thread. Not many people were aware of how to earn these kapi medals, obviously interest in winning them will push prices up a little as companies compete.
