okay, so my friend has just quit and sold me all his items cheap, including 5billion power, so i put it on the market and it says 2.147billion on market
why is there a limit, and secondly why is that limit such a strange number?
weird market limit

It has to do with binary code, or more effectively the constraints on c++ code or the variant upjers uses. Its the same thing that stops builds at 37. something K.
I personally think its moronic since I can own tens of billions of power not limited at 2.147b, an player with more than a passing knowledge of programing might be able to share a better reason. Or google knows all,...up to you!

It is quite annoying, since this way the power prices will never go down in Realm 1.
If someone rich (or some rich people) tried to bring the power price down, they couldn't market more than 85 billion power or so at a time (using up all their market offers, assuming they have premium), which would be bought up by the massive Capitalists and Trillionaires instantly.
If they could market more billions of power (even a few trillion) which were bought from the NPC and resold for a few 0.01ths of a cap cheaper, then maybe they could saturate the market, and keep the price lower.
