same...
Well I don't go to school anymore, but I know a ton of people with facebook. I know quite a lot of people that don't have it though. Me included. I think it's useless.

I just don't see how it can improve my life. If I didn't keep contact with you it's because I'm NOT interested in hearing about you anymore. That's the reason why I left my homeland, for sure I don't want them people to catch up with me again.

Conclusion: Social networking sites can't improve your life.

I agree with that actually, although all my classmates at school are of the COMPLETELY opposite opinion (they don't actually know I play Kapilands  ).

I don't think social networks are intended to make your life better. Oh, sure, you get to meet new people and make new connections ( maybe even find customers for whatever you're selling ( assuming you're on Facebook, MySpace etc mainly for doing business )), but, in my opinion, its primary role is to help you stay in touch with friends and family, especially when you're away from your home country.

And if you don't wanna hear from others, just don't let them know you've bailed out :D .

I am on myspace, and only one person found me there. Failbook is privacy-free, if you register with your name everybody can find you.

I'm on both MySpace and Failbook and have added a ton of people. I honestly don't know most of them, so I'll have to start cleaning my lists and leave only the ones I personally am close to.

That is a problem, your so-called "friends" can see all your private info.

Some people just add loads of "friends" even though they don't know them so they don't look lonely. :P

That can have bad consequences.

Correct, and ILLY was a hardcore spammer, now he's lightened up a bit but he still is a spammer, deep down in his heart. :P
