I think that crazy people are very interesting.
I often see them on the city bus talking to themselves.
I try to listen to see if I can hear what they are saying.
Maybe they know something in their crazy world that makes sense?

So please, tell me what the craziest thing you've ever heard is.
Not just making stuff up but real crazy stuff that you believe, as some sort of weird superstition or something crazy you've heard from others.

extra points if it somehow makes sense.

Example:

I heard on some video on a website a guy saying that Al Gore is a vampire.
That's why he carries a briefcase, to keep his blood in.
Not that he is a real vampire, just in some strange cult that believe they are vampires and drinking blood will help them somehow.
The fellow goes on to explain that they get this blood from ritualistic human sacrifices, so the person being killed is awake and alert when they kill him for his blood.
This, according to this man, causes the victim to panic and increase his adrenaline production, then Al Gore drinks the blood with all that adrenaline in it and gets addicted to the adrenaline, that's why he has to carry it around with him, in case he is Jonesing for a blood fix.

The man on the same video offered that the Boston Tea Party was not due to British tax but because the British started a lower tax on Tea than the previous tax. This cut into their tea smuggling business so the had the Boston tea party to get rid of the cheaper tea.

Another good one would be that some Island in the Pacific the natives tie rocks to their testicles. The are horrible afraid that they will suck up into their body cavity and they'll become women, thus the need for rocks to tie up to your testicles to prevent that from happening.
