Due to further scheduling problems the contest in-fact ended yesterday at 23:59, rather then the planned date of today.
The next contest has been setup in advance for potentially a day late to hopefully avoid this problem in the future entirely.
I'm aware some users did not realise this was the case and waited to send their produce in until today only to find the contest was ended, and Pearlbay has been contacted about this. However I cannot promise anything can, or will be done.
This was indeed a journal fault, and hopefully will be the last time such problems occur if the next contest runs as it should.
