One thing you'll find is that you're going to hit a point (probably fairly soon) where the well becomes useless, because it can't keep up with how much water you need. Once you get your cash flow working, you can sell off the well and build something that will get you more income.
(I know some people advise just not doing the well at all, but when I first started, I had difficulties getting enough cash to buy the water I needed. Ah, the good ole days of yorenoob.)

Ya, maybe I should have mentioned that right away. Didn't thought of it at that time, but yes, wells are, economically seen, the worst buildings in the game. Some try to get wells to be fully self sufficient, but it never works in the end, since they don't produce enough to satisfy any decent city's water demand (unless u fully go metal).
