Water Quality

If raw resources i.e. power, water have no quality, then it would not be fair to put those to calculate quality.
Either we should incorporate quality research into the game, or should just cut off the need to put these into consideration when calculating quality of the product.
Fair is fair i supposed. If i.e. Oil need power and oil itself, i will always get half of the quality no matter what i do, since oil is the only variable there is to play with.

It is much easier for beginners who come e.g. 2 years after the start of the game to have products which have no other quality than 0. They won't be disappointed if they see how far research went up to then. And it was the intention to have some "beginners products".
Water and power are in nearly every end-product (I think, there are only 1 or two which do not need one of them). So it does not make any difference if it is going into the calculation of the end product's quality.
The maximum research of one product is at 127. So if we do not have water/ power in this calculation, 127 will be reached sooner than with having them.
So it's just another kind of challenge here in this game

yes, but this reduction was the intention of the game's inventor. So it will become more difficult to achieve the highest q and q will not increase too fast (what also affects the shops and with this, the poeple starting later with the game)Corben wrote:I also think having no Q on raw materials whilst having them removed from Q calculations is a GREAT idea; otherwise at the lower level your Q levels are greatly reduced, especially with water and power (used for almost everything).
i change my mind, never in a million years would i want water, or power, to have a quality! because for one its going to make the variables of the game harder to do for production, its going to tick me off when theirs options for buying water.
unless they add bottled water beverage to the game i see no need for water quality!
i revoke my vote and choose NO on prop. 31 for water lol.
