there shouldn't be one.

Players that sell "really cheap" are either losing money or lowering prices to ramp up demand.

Furthermore, its a free trade economy. Pricing is a part of strategy :)

i kno there have been times when i have been REALLY low on cash - so low that i COULD NOT pay the market prices for some materials ... so i just slowly sold power at a VERY low rate of .05 per in small chunks until i had enuf money to pay the steel market fees. that was EARLY on ... i have now known not to be that low into liquid assets 8)

besides, go check out the German version (use the 'gast//gast' to login as a guest, and check out their market ... theres a real difference from their prices compared to ours of starting resources ... prices will fluxuate depending on number of users producing compared to number of users in need (supply and demand) ... prices always do. lol

Since, (apparently) you can get banned for buying certain products if they have one of those "just too good to be true" prices, I think their should be a minimum. Like, the price you set for something on the market has to be higher than what's listed under unit price on the warehouse page.

I actaully agree with this. Why cant u make it so u cannot sell for less than it costs to produce? The system could give u a erorr message if u tieed 'u cannot sell for less than it costs to procduce'. Let them sell for as high as they want, just not lower than it costs to make :D

Selling for higher price than NPC is an error. Nobody will ever buy it (or it is money transfer = tunelling), so this should be prohibited and identified as a potential error.

The price in warehouse is computed as YOUR REAL cost including buing price, so the real minimum should be the direct-production cost (and NPC prices should be a coeficient of this). Cheaper prices can mean two things:
1. Somebody is really low on cash and this can make some and in the long-term make him even more money.
2. Cheating, tunelling, money trasfers...

So, there should be restrictions.

Probably, put a cap on the max, that i would agree since its no-brainer to sell at least lower/same then the NPC, but putting a cap on the min, don't think thats a good idea.

There are ppl that are desperately needs money of that time and quick money. Of coz, there is no secure thing in this world, and this game is no exception to it. If you can't stop ppl cheating in the real world, this game give s a better simulation to that wouldn't it? :P
