I just made 8mio barier, and i'm able to buy special buildings now.
But nowhere i can find info's about them. "You score with these building... " is all you can read from help.
Can somebody tell me what do u do with nursing home, shelter and kindergarden?

there are different kinds of special buildings:
the first group are the special buildings for status symbols. Status symbols will be stored, however, also if you do not have a special building for that.
There are some quests in the game, where you have to build a special building in advance, before the quest starts. But you will get a message from the system for that.
Then there are special buildings like the hospital or the Kindergarten: if you built one of them, you will have to fulfill further "tasks" in order to get score-points (for example: first stage in the building means: send 1000 apples + 500 wine + 200 tyres, this is just an example I have from my mind..., so not really true
And then there are also special buildings for premium users, these are the administration buildings. you can start or cancel the production in all buildings of one kind at the same time and do not have to enter each singel building (there are several threads on this in the questions &beginners forum)
Generally spoken: Most players use the special buildings also to increase their fixed assets... expansion is more expensive and as you said, some give more fixed assets than others.
Another thing you spoke about are the status symbols: there is one group of status symbols, which can be used as gifts to other players (they are not implemented yet, but people are working on this.) You cannot sell them, just send them for 0 to another player. And the other kind of status symbols are the "normal" ones, you can buy by coins or by caps. There are, however, some symbols, which are available only for a short period of time.
We cannot give a detailled list here of the tasks you have to fulfill in the single special buildings, sorry... That would mean spoiling,as there are players who want to find that out on their own...
