As many of you know the newspaper sucks... badly. For you newer players I encourage you to look back at the first few editions of the paper- they were good.
I want to bring the paper back up to that standard and beyond. For that though I need a team. I don't care where you come from, what age you are or what you do. I care about the pure quality.
All articles etc must be written in clear, understandable, well punctuated English. No exceptions.
Also to lighten the mood in the newspaper I'm looking for people who are good with graphics/comedy to possibly write/draw cartoons. These have to be of a good quality though!

I have sorted out a layout for the newspaper which will have different departments with different people running them with different people helping them out.

Now the "departments" That you can apply to be a member of, or leader if there currently isn't one is:
Overviewers- VerConMat Industries BV is the leader. This part of the paper telling everyone whats coming up inside it. This isn't about telling everyone who looks at the front page exactly what has happened, but is more about letting them know what's in the paper for them to read. This should be lead by 1 person, who will do most of the work. One additional helper may be necessary, but I doubt.
News- Azer is the leader here and this area requires lots of smart people, articles aren't easy to come about in Kapilands unless you think about them. You would be writing News stories about things that happen in game, such as big players quitting, what the contest means for the rest of kapilands and any other news topics you can think about in kapilands- of course thinking of the topic is the hardest part and this is why it requires intelligent people and is lead by a great leader
Interviewers- Sally is the leader, and will require a small team to go around interviewing players/mods/admins/upjers staff as they see fit. The page should contain between 1 and 3 interviews a week. No more otherwise the interviews will be very short and bad. Personally I would have 1 or 2 per paper. Sally has the ability to ask good questions and to press people for more information when necessary. But not going over the top, so her team should be likewise.
Tippers and Trickers- Run by Horizon, in short you need to be experienced at this game and know what you're talking about and be able to help newbies. Also expect some mails from them to every now and then, so you have to be patient and helpful as well
Fun Makers- Blob Inc is the leader, and he needs fun people who can "make fun". This involves making jokes, riddles, videos, comics and of course the competition. This page can be entirely out of game fun, so you can display maybe some funny youtube videos or some funny pictures(no to big) with some jokes on the page. References to kapilands will be smiled upon cheerfully
Comics wise I don't mind if you make your own or take another persons- BUT you must mention who made them, where they are from etc. You can't just steal things on the internet and claim them as your own. And make sure you have permission to take these pictures! The competition will be once a week with prizes(Me and Goldeneye are talking this through as we speak), it will have to be an interesting riddle, puzzle, question and before even Sudoku!Tech- we also may require some people who are technically gifted enough to understand html formatting in such a way that you can help each other make the "newspaper formatting part" with codes so I can just copy+paste it in a mail to goldeneye to put in the newspaper
If you want to be part of a department that already has a leader mail the leader, if you want to be in "tech" mail horizon. If you want to do anything else which doesn't have a leader mail me
