OMG, some of you guys are religious? This is the internet, and a game, and a business game at that! You don't think Bill Gates and George Soros fear judgment after death, do you?
The answer to all your questions is, "For crying out loud, shut up!" There may be some scientific theories which are entertaining, if not adequate, but I can assure you that there are no spooks in the ether.

I don't have a problem with religious people. (Even though I am not religious.) I do have a problem with the people that think religious people are some kind of problem. Without getting personal with anyone, my general theory is that no one in his right mind believes in religion, only churches. I'm not a member, but I also believe in churches.

They say there are no atheists in foxholes, but that's not my theory. If you're in trouble, you *know* you can't pray your way out of it.
Dervishes whirl because they fear the imam, not because they believe in Allah. Mormons tithe because the church makes it worth their while, not because Joseph Smith dug up some "golden tablets". Cotton Mather hanged witches because he was sorting out some rackets. (See the film Love at Stake for details.) Pat Robertson is a ruthless, self-made millionaire, not somebody who "asked Jesus into his life".

There's nothing wrong with belonging to a church. I believe in churches, although I'm not a member. But how embarrassed would you be if you had to stand up in public and profess/admit belief in the details of your church's dogma?

I have read the Koran..the Book of Mormons..the Bible and have noticed an uncanny similarity between the descriptions of their "Supreme Being".
In their basic believes they are all the same...all believe in one Supreme Being..no mattter what he is called. Its the individual "churches" interpretation of this Beings Gospels that is the problem. It is the reason you have a "holy war".It is the reason Catholics fight Protestants in Ireland...Moslems fight Christians everywhere....More damage has been done in the name of religion since the dawn of time than any dictator did.
So I believe in a "supreme being" wether it be a "force" ,an event that started life, a natural order of things that stops the universe from colliding or whatever...but its there.

I have always said if you want to be rich start a religion.
Todays crop of evangelists just proves my point.
Every Religion and culture for that matter has their day in the Sun..Christianity has had a long and bloody reign. Which religion is next??
my guess would be Moslems and their reign will be just as bloody if not more so judging by todays news.Every religion has its share of Zealots and Pacifists..in Catholicism it was the Jesuits of old who were the zealots.
Today we have a certain sect of Muslims who are the zealots..who wish and do convert by "the sword".In Catholicism we had the "inquisition" were persons were tortured into religion just for believing the world was round.In Salem we had the witch hunts for persons who were "different" than the Pilgrims around them. A lot of good has come from religion but so have some of the worst athrocities in human history.
So I am starting pkism..be your own person,pray in your own house to whatever "Supreme Being" you believe in and only follow one rule
"do unto others as you would have them do unto you" The tithe will be 1 cap per month send to pkinc. Receipts will be issued for tax purposes

What is the reason that nobody believes that this "god" or whatever may be the "creator" which is this so called god didn't create this world and that was the last of his knowledge or care for it. Every day we create and destroy and after creation most of the time we don't even bother to worry about it until it is destroyed.
If I press new game on some game that can go on forever if I just happen to leave it on ( which in an online game with a server it would go until the games life span had ceased ). This game would then be like our world would it not? If this game had inhabitants I would have just ditched them and would have no care for them - because I have no reason too. So what says that our almighty creator didn't just spark the big bang and was like "whatever" and moved on with it's life whatever "it" is just as we do every day.
I do not believe in any religion and I attend college for the first part of my Engineering AA. I plan to move on to chemical engineering.

I feel sorry for atheists here and only hope somehow God will show you guys mercy and not send you to hell for eternity. Wouldnt just the thought of spending forever in a river of fire deter you from being atheist?
I mean all it takes to be a christian is believe that jesus died to forgive us from all our sins and we can goto heaven.
I know you guys think God doesn't exist but nothing is absolute here as none is proven comprehensively and if there is even 0.00000001% of doubt or the possiblity of God existing then i would be christian.
Because if you are atheiest and you are indeed right then nothing happens, but if you're indeed wrong you will spend FOREVER being TORTURED by Demons in a river of FIRE.
But if you're chrisitian and you're right you will spend eternity in a street made out of Gold, playing all day and angels as your servant, if indeed christians are wrong nothing will happen to them when they die.
So if anything the slight possibility of ending up in hell would deter anyone from becoming atheists since nothing is definitive here... I mean i would rather be safe than sorry any day of the week...
