Power Plants Good Money?
Is going into the power bussiness really that good. I know that you can make as much as five times what it costs to make but you need to be able to make so much power. To get to the point where you can make a LOT of power you need a lot of money to expand so it will take a long time to get enough money to do this!! I make 17 million power a day and if i sell that on the market for 0.19 i make about 2.4million profit. That isnt very much for a whole day of producing power.
Anyone got any other comments please add.

Agreed. Power is cheap to make and it doesn't require any other materials to produce but it takes a very long time to before you are able to make even a decent bit of money.Myth wrote:its a bad business plain and simple. You will have to stick with it for a long time to see any kid of profits, i have about 900million Fa worth of power plants and i make about 150millioon a day, and there are other businesses that make allot more than that

but, if you are new to this game (which you are) power gives relatively decent profit, because you dont have to research it. it gives considerably bigger profit than wood these days and is comparable to stones. however stone price is dropping + the mine expansion time is very long compared to other buildings.

Here's what I tend to say regarding power, stones, and other basic q0 products:
They are needed and will always be wanted. So if you go into that business you'll never be short of customers, and you can really get the feel of making deals.
However, if you want a real industry where you can profit and grow, it's not my choice. There's a LOT of talk about moving the price, but for any one person (especially a smaller one) you don't have much flexibility.
More importantly, consider this: If you make wardrobes, or gas, or heck even candy (don't) you will get more profitable over time as your research raises the quality. This will make up for the reduced production each time you level up or expand. However, if you make power there's no research possible. So every time you level up you're getting less profitable with no way to make up for it.
Just something to think about. All of that said, if power prices go high then naturally the market would want more power producers to come share in the profit.

im pretty sure thats its Gas station's (selling gas) and Furniture store's (Selling wardrobes) that give you the most profit, but as a beginner i would make stones, because you can get good steady income, and if then deiced to stop making stones, then you have 7 other choices that you can make without selling any of your old buildings.

No way. I need those slots... I already have my building layout 30 E-factories 60 E-Stores 3 RC's (for TV's) and I have the capacity to sell 13k TV's daily (1/m2) and make around 28k daily with my E-factories. I am buying in around 65k plastic for 90+2q and 100+2q (fair prices) and I get my glass from a reliable supplier.

60 e-stores!!! I have 27 e-stores, 55 e-factories, 15 factories, and 3 RCs. You should get rid of some of your e-stores and expand the rest. In my opinion 60 e-stores is too much.Canadian Energy Corp. wrote:No way. I need those slots...
