You totally misunderstood what I said (or totally didn't read what I said!) Of course it's stupid to kill for the 'cause' as you say. I never said otherwise!
What I was saying is that if there was no religion people would still find a new 'cause' to kill each other. It's got nothing to do with religion, it's to do with human nature.

I vote Lib Dem, so some people think I'm weird. I like politics and enjoy taking an 'active' role, e.g. attending debates, going on marches, speaking out and so on.
Sports:
I hate watching sports, I only play them because it is fun, gets you outside and you meet people. Golf is not a sport. Neither is darts.
Religon:
OK, I class myself as a free thinker, i.e. I belive in a god but not a certain god. As a serving member of the RAF, religon keeps me going when nothing else would and has got me through some tough times in my life. Religion is inportant in this world, much is driven by it. Religion is fine untill you get to the extreimeists, who don't really count because they have read their scripturs wrong. Musslims are very peaceful people in real life, we only hear about the extreamist unfortunatly.

Sharing food and drink with family and friends. I like to practice this every day. Eating alone can be,,, annoying. In my religion you have to play cricket as well,,, and laugh a few times a week.

Politics: NDP in Canada. They have exactly what everyone needs. A good environmental plan and a good economic plan. They combine the two alot better then the Green Party. I am only 14 and cannot vote, but when I can GO NDP. I think I could actually be a good politician.
Sports: They are very fun to play and some of them are actually good to watch. I love to play and watch hockey and soccer and I watch the odd BlueJays Game too (baseball). I don't see how you can not like sports. I have played for a very long time and I will continue for some time to come.
