MY company is empty

Hi everyone,
we're trying to find a way to figure this out right now. As I said it's unfortunate timing and I have to wait for our manager to return before being able to do anything.
Limey6 however, does have a good pint. The bank-loan system is created that way, so that people will think twice before making loans and make sure they pay them back in time.
If not, drastic measures will be taken, kind of like when you play Monopoly and manage to end up on the Boardwalk with 4 hotels on it.
One of the main reasons why it was programmed that way was really to avoid cheaters taking advantage of the system, as you could easily misuse it for pushing your account. If there weren't countless internet users out there who would try anything to cheat their way up to the top (though I still don't understand what's so fun about that), we wouldn't need those "security measures" at all.
Unfortunately as soon as we loosen one rule, we immediately get flooded by multi accounts and cheaters, taking the fun out of the game for everyone who tries to play fair... well, you could call it a vicious cycle.
For the time being I hope we can at least put this discussion on hold, until I can actually give you more useful information.
Best regards to everyone,
pearlbay

im not gonna crawl my way back up when i put in so much effort im building my supplyers up and pushing so much cash into the realm i won't take your offer sorry, i don't think its fair

No, if it were that easy, we would have done so. First of all: The system is set so that the buildings that are seized by the bank are deleted completely. If you're lucky and, most of all, quick, it's still possible to retrieve it. If not, it really is gone and there is nothing one can do about it.Myth wrote:why is it so hard to recover his company, (im no computer wiz all i know how to do on the computer is go on kapilands and watch por... youtube) cant you just go back in you memory data base, or whatever its called and retrieve what his company looked like before and then restore his buildings?
If you were to rebuild the company entirely as it was before, you'd have to spend hours of programming time working on the data base. Which means that one programmer would be held up for hours in order to retrieve just one single account, when in the meantime he could work on developing and general game maintenance.
Moreover, the only programmer at our company with complete access to the entire Kapilands database is our manager, who, apart from his programming work also has to keep the company running and generally anyway works until 3 in the morning.
Once again, when you are taking a loan from the bank you are explicitly warned of the risks and reminded to pay back in time - for reference, here is the first warning:
And these are the subsequent onesPlease bear in mind: If the loan has not been returned until the end of the duration, the Kapi Bank will seize your money. If you are not solvent, the bank will randomly seize your buildings (only the constructing value counts). The value of the seized object can be a lot higher than the loan value. If your account does not cover the loan, it will be reset.
Dear Sir or Madam,
certainly you have just overlooked your outstanding loan payments. Please make sure to return your loan at the earliest opportunity.
Dear Sir or Madam,
unfortunately we still could not detect a payback from your side. Please execute the payment today.
Please note that we are allowed to seize your property. Even buildings with a much higher value than your loan may be seized.
Dear Sir or Madam,
unfortunately you did not react on our urgent demand for payment. That is why we have collected the loan amount, including 40% overdraft interest, from your bank account.
These messages are sent only when you log into the account - so you cannot miss receiving them. Now I know the system in itself is harsh, but so are credits in real life, and it's not as if you can say you don't receive ample warning.Dear Sir or Madam,
unfortunately you did not react on our urgent demand for payment That is why we were forced to seize your [*buildings*].

I really understand your disappointment, but, if you read my message below, you can see why it's just not possible to rebuild the entire account as it was. Once again, you are given several warnings that the bank will seize your property if you don't pay back in time and since you have been playing the game for a while, you must have noticed that happen to other players.Milenko wrote:i saw your message, but your offer isn't even close to enough, the thousdands of hours i lost of expanding time for all my building, its either get my company back as it was or new buildings but the same size (all 100 of them) or nothing for me

If you don't want to accept the help I am able to offer you, then I guess there is nothing else I can do. Besides, if you saw my messages, why didn't you reply to it in the first place, but posted back here to complain that no one was reacting? I don't call that fair either ...

there is one thing i'm wondering
the damned was a huge company, was really not the buildings enough to cover the loan before all buildings were gone? if i took out a loan with the warning stated in the bank, i would expect the bank to take buildings until value exceeded loan (or loan+interest)
i see from the warning messages that there is an extra 40% interest, ok that's fair enough.
however max loan is 100mill

I think I have got enough slience here and I would like to say something.
Pearlboy have said that if The Damned have make the things early enough, things may be possible but according to what you have said, it is not early enough. Ok, The Damned have get the case in front of you when he find the problem, but your manager is gone! If your manager is not here and than by the end of the day, you say that HE IS NOT EARLY ENOUGH, it is of no way fair to him.
What I want is justice, HERE AND NOW!
There are in fact two more problems in the loaning system, as far as I can see, what I can loan is merely 10% of the fix asset in book value. If I am correct in my life expeience, one could have get at least 50% of the fix assets from his loan, and seems to me that 10% of the fix assets should not have been secured by so much assets.
The second problem that I can feel is that since the feature of loan is noly available to manager or above, which should have 64M asset or more, cheating should not be the first issue to be considered because what they are going to lost in cheating is going to spoil a lot more than what they can cheat in the loan system, and by the end of the day, it is not worthwhile to cheat using the loan system. Can your programmer think of something that is more realistic to the real world, but not hanging over to the holidays and than say to the others that "I am sorry, but I cannot get it done"
