Best of luck to you Milenko. I hope everything works out for you. Incase it doesn't though, thanks for everything that you've done to help me become the company that I am today.

It would be a shame to lose R2s biggest company because of a glitch

I'm not sure if this will help, Milenko. You have a huge stock of wood, right? Is it possible for you to send contract to some of us who would buy them off you for a slight premium, and that would release some cash for you to redeem the stores first. Then, from the cash from the store visits, you can release even more cash. You can have the wood back when everything is back to normal.

atm this is my warehouse

54,085 Advertisements Q28

Gas Q23-29 total amount 575k

2.8 Million Oil Q31

122 Million power

600k Q0 steel

295k Mixed Q 1-15 Steel

22 Million stones

635k Wardrobes Mixed Q10-22

46 Million Wood Mixed Q1-15 (mostly high Q 12+ now as i stoped buying lower Q wood)

so as u can see i have a shitload of stuff i could sell and easily repay my loans, BUT, the problem is, when i go into kapi bank, they don't even show me as haveing a loan anymore, so even if i sold all of this stuff i wouldn't be able to repay my loan, and it still says i have 100 buildings so i can't rebuild anything, and there is no way in hell im starting again, not when most of my buildings was 5000m or just about to finish expanding to 5000m

so come on admin please help me, the system needs to be fixed, as i can easily repay my loan but im not even given the option to :(

I have passed on all your info to our manager. At this point I can only wait for his reply and hope he can fix it. I wish I were a programmer, but I am not ... I really, really hope we can solve this somehow, Milenko!

This plain stinks. Poor timing when the programmer is away and as someone mentioned early when something like this happens time is of the essence. Periodic game saves they can look at but i assume that they cant keep them for long periods of time due to the amount of space they take up.

When this gets resolved in whatever form. Please reach out to your friends in the game and us TIB'ers i know that we will each pitch in whatever we can to get you back up and rolling.

If they cant fix it exactly then let us help you start over. Pick a new field. You could be the first kapilander to conquer greatness TWice on the same realm. HEH

Come on programers-- this is a serious issue

This is very unfortunate to say....
Milenko, its very unfortunate that such a thing has happened...

Sorry Pearlbay,
The time has come to say that the condition of this game has worsened day by day due to some poor support by Upjers.
U guys don't have back up programmer who can fix any such sort of issue....
My board is screwed up, I can't understand whats going on...
The game has a lot of flaws now...
I guess, you guys at UPJERS will have to take a stern step to closedown the game for 5 to 10 days, correct all the errors and then resume game play else the day when the reputation of Kapi as the best browser game will be going down the drain is not far away...

i have to agree with farm the glitches have to be fixed even if the game has to be shut down for 10 days, they can even improve it by taking some ideas from the suggestion forum

i,ve sent a pm of my company presentation i had saved a few weeks ago with every building ID and its exact size, and expanding time etc, i would think with the building ID's etc the admin should be able to fix it or something or atleast give me buildings back and make them the size's i had before

if they are able to create this game surely they are able to create building in some sort of god mode?

Hi Milenko,

I understand your agitation very well, please believe me! As I said, the only person who can fix this right now is our manager, who is on holiday this week. I have passed all the info you gave me on to him right after you gave it to me, so that when he has the time to, he can look it up straight away and if possible, resurrect your buildings.

There's nothing else either you or I can do but wait until then. I am sorry that this happened at all, even more so that it happened at a time where our manager is on his well-deserved days off. At this point, however, I cannot but ask you again to bear with us until I can actually give you a qualified answer by the person who has insight into the entire script.

That the bank seizes all buildings if you don't pay back your loans in time is well documented; you even receive preliminary warnings about this in the game. I agree it's unfortunate if that happens at a time when you cannot access your account, but it's not as if there is no notice at all about it.

I'll definitely ask our management to implement some security mode in future, so entire accounts won't get lost, but right now that's how the system works - as far as I know there are similar traps in other PC games as well. I hope, however, we can somehow change this one to avoid these unfortunate incidents in future. It really would be awful if we lost great and faithful players as a result of this.

Best regards,

pearlbay

Fair Play for Players

Post by Guest » 06.08.2008, 13:05

There is no doubt that if, as a player, you really get into Kapilands as a game then it is very time consuming. I've only been playing for a couple of months but have already put in untold hours of gameplay. Some of the major players must have put in not only hundreds of hours gameplay but have also created significant real-time income for the Kapiland owners in that they stimulate the market for coins.

New players buy coins for hard cash and players like The Damned spend their kapis buying the coins.... the game wins both ways.

I think a game that requires so much investment of time and real cash should never operate a system that completely eliminates a player for an error or misunderstanding short of outright cheating.

Just as in the real world a bank cannot seize all your assets over and above what you owe them so to in Kapilands.

Forfeiture of assets to the value of the defaulted loans is reasonable, seizure of all assets and the destruction of a player is not.

I'm beginning to wonder now whether it is worth continuing with this game because if what happened to The Damned happens to me in another year or so I will be extremely angry and unhappy.

Come on admins and programmers, lets institute some social justice and a sense of fair play here.

I'll make sure to suggest it, as I have said before; I think it would be only reasonable, given that the problem has already affected a few long-standing players. The system itself was implemented so the cheaters wouldn't use the bank as an easy way to push their own accounts, certainly not to punish faithful players.

but he could have only loaned a max of 374million, and if he couldn't pay it back then he should of lost the amount of buildings that add up to 374million dollars, but him loosing all of his buildings that add up to 3.7billion is some kind of glitch

Yes, that would stink...

so the loan is there to hurt you?

Or possibly the other extreme: Take a huge loan, sell off ALL your buildings, and use up all your cash to buy steel... and very soon the bank took nothing from you but still you no longer owe the bank a penny?

nonsense...

Hope everything goes well for you Milenko. and I'm glad many big companies in this game are willing to help the little guys ;)

I say that if someone can't get Milenko's buildings back (probably very likely after this length of time) someone should go in and give him his buildings back. He is the biggest player in the realm and one of the most important to the economy. I would be no where if Milenko had not bought all my wood during the early stages of my company's growth.

I am really hoping his buildings are returned and he is compensated for this. Yes, the bank warns that it will seize your assets, but then it should show that he has 0 buildings; not 100.
