Commas, the Decimal Point, and You

Post by Guest » 27.05.2008, 19:38

I understand the game is written in a foreign country where they use commas for decimals and vise versa but in the game it seems to use commas correctly sometimes but in other places it doesn't.

The game is unplayable from a US perspective because I don't know what the money is. Sometimes it's right, sometimes it isn't.

I think we can all agree the US way of using commas and decimal points is the correct way and the European way of using Day/Month/Year is the better way over the retarded US Month/Day/Year.

I tell you what. If you get all of Europe to fix the comma/decimal point thing I'll get all of the US to fix our idiotic writing of the date.

Hi and welcome!

Well... please tell us some menus where you think that the decimal point and comma are used in a wrong way. :)
And then some menus where they are used correctly (in your opinion). :)

Like i use to say... if there are only 2 after the , or . its the cents.
If you input a number somewhere, you dont need to make any other than the cent sign anyway, and there you can input either . or , and it will have the same result.

xxx.xxx,xx = xxx,xxx.xx

I am from Canada and I don't use decimals or commas. I find it easier to use spaces. I use commas as my decimals only when I write a decimal number because in French Immersion that's how we do it. I think the game would be good only with commas for decimals.
