please people stop being retarded and have proper pricing. I m retailing it so when i buy Q6 for 16c I can sell it for 19.5c because u keep pushing the prices down. I barely make a profit now and I really dont want to IGM my suppliers telling them to drop their prices.

just because one doesn't know the inner working of pricing didn't
mean it give you the right to call them retard....

instead, how about teaching them ? with a proper explanation ?

maybe, a lot of them didn't even come to the forum...

believe me i ve tried plenty and so have others. Its a business simulator so ti kinda makes sense for most players to understand some basic business.

Sure.

Basically I agree with you, but I've seen many threads like this. And it
doesn't seem to really change something.

So I wonder if just using the forum is enough for that. Maybe is enough,
but should be presented more in the line of the actual "The Guide to
Guides and Helpful Threads". If you look at this thread content, you
may notice several papers on kapiland economics, but it may be a
step ahed of what's is looking a beginner. A paper titled "Learn to easily
define a price for your product without crushing your future" may be more
appealing than one titled 'UV 101 - Part 1 - What is a product worth?',
wich is definitly a good reading, but may not appeal to be a first reading.

'Money from the NPC: Setting the right retail price. ' is the reading that
should apply, right ? but this one show you how to get the most
money from your product, regardless of the market price. And it
implies that you have read several other documents, and you are ready
to dwell into excel. It may be the correct answer, but you'll need to
spend some time in it to discover that. And it's more focused on your
own interest (gain) than the market interest. Again, definitly a good
reading, but what may be needed, is just a simple paper that basically
explain you that every player impact the market, and that you simply
should look at the daily market price to set your own price, before trying
to sell in a short time, for your own interest. We're all lokking for our
personnal interest before looking at other's.

But I don't know if we would have enough material to produce a correct
document, after all, it's look like nobody know how the market price is
really impacted by one selling....

And you'll prolly continue to have some players that are more interested
by a better, even if short-term, gain than a long-term investement....that's
something we all have to deal with, and will continue..

When you sell your Q6 Gas for 19.5c you are lowering the Gas prices yourself.

I have suppliers who depend on me selling their gas and if I only sell once every 24h it ll be too much gas for me. The standard for realm1 has always been about 20+q which is 12h and the 6h was just a few days when I needed the cash. The gas in realm2 is like 14+q now which is terrible. Me selling 24h alone wont change anything. So yeah some of us actually have business partners to consider so I cant just do whatever I want. I need to sell the gas I m getting and atm I ts going for 19c or whatever leaving me with very little profit.

Well, it's down to the shrewd businessman to take advantage of other peoples folly. If you are struggling because of other people dominating a market - then you should be more flexible with your business plan.

I try to sell at what the stat shows, that is around 20 for Q3 for france today.
I do that in all my selling produkts.

Is that a total mistake?
What is your opinion?

well we tried to get everybody to sell in 24h shifts but it didnt work. we could easily get it to 22-25+q so your Q3 would sell for 25-28c. Its fine if u produce your own gas coz it doesnt cost anything to produce. Its the retailers that buy in the gas t hat suffer when prices drop that much. I buy gas for 16c to sell it for 19c that doesnt make much sense does it.
