Cost Change for Time Change

Post by Guest » 28.09.2007, 18:19

Sorry about the title, I couldn't make it say everything and still make it sound right. Now back to what I have been thinking about for quite sometime.

How about an option that allows you to pay more to build/expand your buildings and shorten the time it takes for completion. Main reason for this is because I saw many bigger companies spending a lot of valuable production time to expand. If the normal buildings costs (per m

I know but I have nothing better to do since I'm sick and can't do anything else. It can't hurt trying.

The last I checked, I only saw Stones, Wood, and Steel for materials. I never knew cement was required to build buildings in Kapilands

What do you think the stones are for?

Yes, for the sake of our buildings' durability, I hope they hold the stones together with some cement, the wood with some nails, and that even if the steel isn't resting in concrete, it's at least not simply resting on everything else ;)

You only saw Stones, Wood, and Steel for materials, because the NPC guys just go out and buy the rest with the money of the construction costs =) A factory worker earns a living with only 3000 kapis (not monthly, but like, litteraly throughout his whole living). So what are those milions for each upgrade used for ? Pay the workforce ? Of course not ! It's to pay for some high grade, crazy expensive super duper cement, and first class nails. There you have it =D

Yes this is one of the idea that is not too good to be implemented.
I think there is a post like this before. And the answer is still the same. With this idea the difference between small company and big company will be larger and larger. Right now the constraint for big company to grow bigger is the time needed to expand. If for some reason the time for expand is reduced you will look at a new small company with 200k fixed asset and an old giant company that is 1 million times larger. Do you enjoy playing in this kind of environment? :)

Yes, you're thinking of the thread "bribing your employees", which was actually still active when this thread started.

Bribing your employees thread :

I personally feel one of the two should be closed, to avoid good ideas on the topic being too scattered, but I'm not a mod =p
